Celebrity Summit, Southern Caribbean itinerary, 1/10-1/17/09.
We flew in to San Juan on Friday, 1/9, arriving around 10:00 PM. We were staying at the Holiday Inn Express - around a $20 cab fare and 5-10 min. ride from the airport. The hotel was actually in a good location, with a great pizza place just a few blocks away, and open late. We had a room for free on hotel points, but if we would have paid, it would have been around $150. Not bad.
Embarkation: Painless. We left for the ship around 10:30, and by 11:45 embarkation had begun. We were on the ship before noon. Grade: A.
