A last minute booking, but having been on Costa ships previously I had a good idea of what to expect. I liked the fact that there were only 13 English passengers on board and lots of interesting people to meet from around the world. The staff were polite, even under pressure, and were extremely hard working. The cabin was kept clean and serviced efficiently. It was pleasant having a 'dual aspect' balcony.

Yes, from time to time the table service was slow and there were a few other small issues that would have made a good experience even better, for example free tea and coffee and being allowed to remain on board longer at the end of the cruise. However when taken as a whole it was a lovely holiday.

I have read other reviews and people love to complain but i enjoyed my holiday and I would certainly cruise with Costa again.
