I hopped on the Norwegian Getaway for my first cruise. The entertainment was great, food was excellent, and staff was courteous. My room safe malfunctioned the first night and locked me out of it, and when I called for help I ended up waiting in my room for two hours. Nobody came. Eventually I went down to the Guest Services (45 minute wait there) and they sent someone about twenty minutes later. Also, they started charging a 13.95 daily service fee on my account that was not listed anywhere when I originally booked. Was not impressed by that.

The ship itself was quite a sight, and had lots of fun things to do. Norwegian is a good cruise line, however they really need some training on how to properly disclose prices/fees. The touch screen shore excursion booking available on every deck was very efficient. I'd probably book another cruise with them now that I'm aware of what to expect.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom

Cabin was small (to be expected) but clean and well laid out. No complaints aside from my broken safe.

Port Reviews

Ocho Rios

My favorite excursion of the trip. Riding horses in the ocean was a blast.

Nassau

Went to blue lagoon. Saw some fish. Was decent
