EMBARKATION: We flew from DFW via MIA to San Juan the day of the cruise, even with delays in both Dallas and Miami we had plenty of time to get to the ship. We walked right through check-in and were onboard in less than 15 minutes. American Airlines lost our bags, but they caught up to us in St. Maarten. I've read and heard 100's of times to pack a small bag with a change of clothes and essentials - DO IT!

SHIP & CABIN: Our Concierge Class Cabin (7193) was small but the bathroom design allowed for a larger shower than we've ever had on any cruise. The balcony had two small chairs and a little table (Carnivals are larger) and was directly over the penthouse suites - OBSTRUCTIVE VIEW (see pictures).

DINING: The food was truly awful everywhere we ate. There were long lines, several broken ice machines (see pictures), and they ran out of food over and over. The theme for the food on this trip became "sorry, we are out of that" as we joked with our fellow passengers. You could not get a steak worth eating anywhere onboard. A hint for Celebrity, nowhere in America is a sirloin considered high quality and we generally do not like to have frogs legs every night- even Carnival offers filets any night you want them. Shame on Celebrity for the food on this cruise - it was CHRISTMAS! How about doing something special for your guests?
