Cabin: Mid-Ship Oceanview Picture Window

This was my second cruise (the other on Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas) & was tied in with a trip to New York.

Embarkation was efficient & the cabin much as I expected even though my ocean view cabin was smaller than the inside cabin I had on Liberty.

The Cabin Steward was friendly & efficient throughout the trip where the big disappointment was the variation in the service levels between the restaurants, of which the two main dining rooms Magenta & Ocean Pacific, offered great levels of service with food of an extraordinarily high standard. The Oriental & O'Sheans however had extremely poor service with food of much lower quality. In O'Sheans we waited 40 mins for our starters only for the main course to arrive at the same time. When I complained that our mains would get cold I was told that as it is a "family style" restaurant this can often happen...no apology or offer to keep food warm or replace!

Cabin OB

Smaller than expected with no seating area but plenty of storage space. Disappointed that no Tea/Coffee facilities provided. Overall good & cabin steward excellent
