First let me start with embarkation. The lines were extremely long and maybe an hour or a little longer to board the ship. I have never experience such long lines to get on the ship. They were so busy and understaffed that we didn't get to take a picture as we boarded. We were just rushed on. I boarded about 2:00 pm, so maybe that's a little to late to get treated nice. Next time I'll try to get an earlier flight.
Once on board I decided to check with guest services about an on board credit I was promised. Guest service line was always long with only 1-2 people available for help at all times. So I though I would just use the Kiosk. The kiosk were just as busy. They only have two kiosk available on the entire ship. I was told I could check on my television in my stateroom, but this option was not available on my box TV. After waiting in the log guest service line the full credit I was promised was not on my account. Carnival states is was an error on my Travel agents part. Contacted my travel agent and was told it was Carnivals fault. Oh well, no need to spend more time on the credit I was surely not going to received, I was ready to enjoy the ship. So I gladly excepted the credit I did receive and proceeded to enjoy my cruise.
The food on the was good and the lines were not as long as I expected. Enjoyed the music and the food and the drinks. Dinner in the Pacific Dinning room was okay, nothing to write home about ,but hey, I didn't have to cook it so that's always a plus. The service was great and the entertainment was wonderful.
I had a balcony cabin. Ian did a great job of keeping our bathroom and cabin clean.
Embarkation process needs to be reevaluated.
