I have not sailed on NCL in a few years however leaving from NYC means no flights so I decided to give it a try. Getting to the pier by limo was definitely a plus but that is the best part.

The ship itself is in good repair and I have no complaints, however not being able to get a map of the ship and not having the deck on the daily planner made navigating the ship a nuisance. The main dining room was comfortable with never any lines or waits and we were seated at once however there were few options and all food was mediocre at best. None of my favorites were ever served, we tried the pay restaurants and they were no better. Food was not cooked to our liking and no attempt was made to satisfy us after our complaints; how hard is it to make meat well done. The desserts were no better I have never left desserts uneaten before, ice cream on the buffet was the best thing on the ship.

The spa was a pleasant surprise and I enjoyed the peace and quiet almost every day for a little relaxation, however the lockers never worked and left me frustrated every day.
