Sail Date: Apr 2015

I'm 19 and this was my first cruise, I travelled with my parents and we stayed in an interior cabin. Before the cruise I did some research on the ship and found some poor reviews in this site, so I thought I might of been in for a poor time, I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the cruise immensely.

Embarkation:

For this cruise there were delays in the morning from difficulties getting luggage and supplies off the ship and stowing new luggage and supplies. These delays meant that there were large lines when dropping off baggage and checking in but luckily these delays didn't have much effect on boarding time and we were on ship when scheduled.

Cabin Review

Cabin ID

Cabin 10132 Is an interior cabin located on Deck 10, Forward, Portside. This cabin can accommodate 2-4 people. It has two single beds which can also be used as a twin and two bunks that pull down from the ceiling.

With three people we used the two single beds and one pull down bunk and the room felt quite open and spacious. The room is 17.6m² which is quite large compared to similar cabins on other ships operating in Australia which tend to be around 14-15m²

There is a lot of storage in the cabin, two bedside tables each with 4 draws, a desk with several draws and amble working space. The wardrobe is approximately 1.5m wide and comes with plenty of clothes hangers and there is a floor to ceiling set of drawers and cupboards.

The bathroom is of a reasonable size and a good layout, while the shower is quite large for a cruise ship.

The cabin also has a small bar fridge to use and there are a couple of 240V powerpoint available.
