My family and I just returned from Carnival's cruise out of Baltimore to Port Canaveral, Nassau and Freeport and we had an awesome time! Embarkation was easy; we arrived early and waited about an hour and half before we got on the ship. The crew was outstanding. Our cabin steward, Don, was very friendly and accommodating. Neil, Leo and Cesar, our wait staff were outstanding! There were more than enough activities to keep us all busy from morning until late into the night. If you chose to do nothing, the adult serenity area was extremely restful and well-designed. There were many places to find respite -- even a library and beautiful chapel. The gym was amazing and my son and I visited on 4 different occasions.

We went to Kennedy Space Center and booked through Carnival. It was pricey but well worth it. What an amazing place; lots of great tours that reminded us of our awesome astronautic programs. We missed the simulator due to time constraints; it would be nice to extend the tour day to 4p or 4:30p instead of ending just before 3p.

We booked Atlantis through Bahamas Day Pass which saved us over $300. This pass gave us full access to the water park and slides. Unfortunately, there was just one check-in desk and the line to get our wristband was slow and long. Eventually, we enjoyed the beach, the pool and one slide before the weather forced them to close other slides. Still lots of fun; beautiful resort that we may visit in the future.
