Liberty of the Seas is a beautiful ship. It is laid out so that guests have easy access to most areas. I loved the Promenade in the middle of the ship. There are the usual stores where you can purchase clothes or souvenirs, a Ben & Gerrys, a pizza shop, plus a 24 hr coffee shop. The coffee shop was a favorite of mine and a nice place to meet friends. It has small sandwiches and desserts all day long. They have regular coffee as well as specialty coffees for a fee if you don't have the deluxe drink package. Regular coffee is no charge.
There are three separate pool areas: Main pool, kids splash park/pool, and adults only. I really liked how the adults only pool area is set up. There is a small bridge over one end of the pool, where you could get out of the sun if needed. The lounges around the pool area are angled toward the pool and the pool bar is at the entrance to the pool.
The entertainment on board was outstanding. The cruise director, Dru, seemed to be everywhere and was an active part of the activities. We saw a Journey Tribute Band - amazing - and Saturday Night Fever. We saw an ice skating show which was great and a spectacular aerial show, on par with Circque deSoleil entertainment. There was always something to do or see.
Traffic is terrible on the way to this port.
We took a taxi to Horseshoe Beach, which is breathtaking. Beautiful pink sand beach.
We walked to the shops and then had lunch at Señor Frogs.
Due to a medical emergency in board we missed this port.
Beautiful beaches and lots of things to do.
