This was my 3rd Norwegian cruise and as usual it was excellent from start to finish. It went to Bahamas and Florida from New York.Embarkation was quick and organized.I stepped inside the ship at noon time and my room was already for me to get settled into ,no waiting at all.I went with my 5 year old son for the Nickelodeon fun it was definetly a great experiencce for families with children of all ages. All staff throughout the ship were friendly and professional and made us feel like family.

The ship itself was very clean and well maintained. The food in Garden Cafe was delicious and variety was great.I love how they have a kddie cafe just for the little ones with kid size tables, kid sized chairs ,kid friendly food and a tv with Nickelodeon programming all the time to keep the kids etertained and at the tables during meal time. The Nickelodeon entertainment for the kids and families was so much fun esspecially Nickelodeon poolside live and the Pajama Jam. Splash Academy was also great for the kids although its a no parent zone they did have parasdes and shows that the kids participated ion that the families were able to go to to watch in the atrium or in the stardust Theatre. My favorite nightly show in the stardust theatre was the 70"s show. The bowling alley onboard was diffrent that we never experienced on our other 2 Norwegian cruises lots of fun we had there. The childrens arcade was kind of small in size but it was always occcupied with kids amnd they all had fun while there. We had a ocean view picturwe window cabin (8616) which was good in size with plenty of storage and the queen size bed.It was a great room also because the morning we returned to NY for disembarkation we got to see the statue of liberty passing right by our room no need to go outside on deck at 6:30 am got a perfectly beautiful view from inside the room. When the ship stopped in Port Canaveral FL we spent the day at Kennedy Space Center, what an amazing experience the shuttle launch experience is a must do.It was so realistic. When the ship stoped at Nassau Bahmas we went to Atlantis and had the aquaventure package I knew it was a beautiful place from all teh commercial sI see of it on tv but actually being there in up close and in person was breathtaking. The Mayan temple slide was exhilrating as well as all the challenger slide. My son had a blas t at the childrens water park splashers I had such a hard time getting him out of there but then again who could blame him it's like a childrens paradise. The food was delicious a little pricey but the portions speak for themselves these are no ordinary hot dogs or hamburgers they were huge. When the ship stopped at the private Island Great Stirup Cay we had a fun filled relaxing day in the water,on the hippo waterslide and even Nickelodeon stepped off the boat onto the island for some family fun activities live. The buffet was good if only the pigeons would stay away from our food so we could eat in peace though. It was basic hot dogs, hamburgers, potato chips, water, iced tea included the bar had just about every other drink posssible for additional cost.Disembarkation day was just as quick and organized as embarkation. We traveled to and from the NY terminal on Academy bus very convient, relaxing and stress free ride.I cant wait to book our next Norwegain cruise
