Reading all the negative reviews I was really nervous about this cruise, but the truth is a cruise is what you make it. If you go in with a negative attitude its not going to be fun. You have to be open minded. I had an awesome time. The staff was great and friendly. Our steward,Olvin from Honduras, was absolutely phenomenal. Always asking how we were, how dinner was, and how our day was. Everyone on the lido deck was great as well! Overall a great experience! As valor is an older ship, but it was well kept and clean. There wasn't really anything to complain about. The food wasn't as great as other cruises I have been on... But not bad. One more thing is that after dinner there is really nothing to eat. You have three options after dinner ... Eat pizza (gets old after 2 days), eat at the deli (only open til 11pm), or order room service which takes about 30 minutes. This ship also vibrated more than others I've been on, but again nothing extreme enough to ruin having an awesome time.
As for the ports,
In Cozumel we went to paradise beach. It was a great deal for the price. $3 admission and $15 if you wanted to used the kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling equipment, and Aqua park stuff. It was one of my favorite days.
Cabin was clean and cozy. Tv was outdated and rattled when docking.

Despite the comments about the roatan port being filled with pushy your guides asking you to take their tours. We had no one approach us, nor did we see anyone being approached. It was a gorgeous port. We hung out at the free beach and it was amazing. Only advise I'd give is to go early to get a seat.
Costa Maya was all just shopping in the port and the shop owners were very pushy and barley spoke English. In my opinion it was a waste of a stop, but there is a pool in the port and a bar.
