Sail Date: Aug 2015

First time with Fred Olsen.Embarkation at Dover was a shambles. Had to be there in a one hour window then waited ages to board in small groups . Announcements not at all clear. Once on board shown in direction of cabin. Cases were waiting -right across the cabin door! Once we shifted several cases ( not ours) we could enter the cabin. We had booked the cabin to be made up as Queen bed-not. Up to reception to get bed made up as requested. It was but not till the evening so we could not unpack.

After that things improved. Food very good and service in Thistle efficient. We requested table for 8 and got what we requested. Got on well with our fellow dinners. Dinning at 6.15 is a bit early and 8.30 a bit late but you could always go free dinning in the Palm.

Bars also good service- special recommendation to Michelle and Geraldine in observatory bar, Emma in Morning Star, Carlyn in Coral bar and Jemwin outside service deck 6/7.
