My first time to sydney & it was pouring with heavy rain as the cruise sailed under the harbour bridge and passed the opera house. Such a beautiful harbour. Day 4 made it to new zealand fiordlands. Milford sound was spectacular with fog & low clouds covering the highest peaks with many waterfalls pouring inti the sound. The day cleared up as we made it to breaksea sound & onto dusky sound. This is the best scenery i have ever seen!!! Day 5 we arrived at foggy & damp port chalmers. Loved the cloud forests around port chalmers. Found dunedin a bit outdated. Day 6 we arrived at banks peninsula with winds at a record 93km/h. No chance of getting to akaroa. Went back out to sea where i relaxed & saw 100's of hector dolphins. Day 7 arrived in 4 seasons wellington. Not enough time to see it all. Best ciry in new zealand. Day 8 arrived in sunny art deco napiet. This place is beautiful. Had the best strawberries i ever had at havelock north. Day 9 arrived at tauranga. Booked a great tour with stroos. Loved rotorua & whakawarewe is incredible. Day 10 arrived in OVERPRICED auckland. Wanted to go to the rainforest & piha but the tourist centre said that was impossible unless you have your own transport. So i just walked around and eventually returned to the shop. Day 11 arrived bay of islands. Took the tender to the shore. Shuttle bus paihia. Ferry to russell & went for a walk for some great views of the islands before making my way back to the cruise ship. Day 14 feeling refreshed, enjoyed the band passion, enjoyed the beautiful food especially the orange peking duck pizza & pistachio pudding. Best vacation i have ever had
