My wife and I have been on 20 cruises now, so obviously cruising is our thing. This was our 3rd with NCL. Overall, I think that NCL does a great job. The embarkation was easy. Our balcony room was clean, comfortable with a great view. The specially dining was excellent at all of the restaurants we visited. The Casino staff was awesome. We made several new friends there. My only complaint would be that our cabin steward was not quite as attentive as usual and seemed to be a little moody. He scolded my wife for putting towels outside the door which she did specifically because he hadn't restocked the dirty ones from the night before or the morning and it was now 3:00. The island was beautiful if not a little expensive. Be prepared for a little sticker shock. We took the 5 hour minibus tour on the day of our arrival. I would highly recommend this tour. Jevon Thomas our guide was terrific and very informative. It gives you a complete tour of the island and definitely gives you ideas on things that you might want to do later. Then there are the beaches. Famous for their pink sand. Horseshoe Bay Beach is a must. The ship being docked there for three days is also so convenient. With the exception of your first day debarkation, exit and reentry to the ship is easy without big crowds. A beautiful island with great water and beaches. history, shopping and really friendly people along with your personal hotel and staff, what more could you ask for? By the way, if you like history and a really nice city, spend an extra day in Boston.
