We have sailed on Liberty of the Seas several times and were very surprised at the change in service, food and general appearance. The food in the dining room was almost inedible...I sent my dinner back more than once and finally settled on eating a salad. I never had dessert as nothing offered looked at all appetizing and was the same thing as always, no changes. I am a diamond plus member and when I spoke with others in the diamond lounge they stated that they would not go to the dining room at all but eat at the specialty restaurants (of which there are only two). Our stateroom was less than clean and bits of things left over from the previous guests were on the floor. The hot tubs were not hot. Lots of complaints about that from other guests. The drink prices have increased since February. The internet situation is ridiculous. As a diamond plus member you are given two free days of internet which must be used continuously. You cannot sign on and off and save the minutes. If you are on a longer cruise you must purchase additional internet minutes. I guess that is the point! The walk for wishes has been discontinued which is a big disappointment. We thought this was a great way to raise money for this worthy organization. I am a loyal Royal Caribbean cruiser but wonder if this line is so intent on bringing out bigger and better ships that they are neglecting the ones they already have.

Promenade Stateroom

Cabin PR

Promenade rooms are small. The door to the bathroom and the closet cannot be opened at the same time and the light switch for the bathroom is behind the door. The room is quiet though. Carpeting is dated and needs to be replaced.
