This review is late however I felt the need to share just a few words. I've sailed on multiple ships in the Carnival fleet as well as Norwegian. In my past experiences, cruising has been much more relaxing and a breeze (no pun intended lol). That wasn't the case here! The ship was extremely crowded, the lines for food seemed to be even longer and the customer service was poor. In past cruises it was so easy to dip in and out of the buffet and/or serving areas. That wouldn't be an issue if it didn't take 10-15 mins to get food. Here I am getting up at 9am thinking other cruisers had stayed up late and would sleep in, boy was I ever wrong. I also noticed that all of the buffet areas weren't being utilized and worst of all some of the restaurants weren't open everyday. You would think that since the ship appeared to be at capacity they would have every available dining option open.

Since I'm on the subject of dining, the staffed appeared to be drained of life and not that hospitable. One staff member said, "I'm sorry that we don't appear to be happy, we're just lacking proper rest". I empathize with them but I do feel that if a group of guest or just one passenger is trying to walk through the lido area with food that the least you can do is walk around them and not into them! I can only recall 3 crew members smiling, sad.

On to my cabin, an interior stateroom with plenty space and a nice steward. Only thing I can say is that the cabin was very warm and humid at its coldest temp setting. I called guest services and asked for a fan when I was told it was only for passengers with illnesses. I get my home at 64 degrees and couldn't sleep in they cabin. A maintenance engineer was sent to my room with a thermometer that read 72 degrees, the cabin norm apparently. 3 mins after the engineer left, he returned with a fan. Even he couldn't deny how warm it was.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

This port was beautiful and the people were pleasant. If you're looking for a beach, you should book through the cruise line or else you can go to the resorts directly.
