This was our 7th cruise, 3rd with Carnival. I cannot in good conscience recommend Carnival Conquest. We are giving this review a 3 because of the itinerary, service and entertainment. The ship gets a zero. Carnival appears to be cutting back, and this particular ship is suffering while all attention is focusing on the new ship schedule to launch next year, Vista. I am Carnival fan, but we are not happy at all with this ship's overall condition, and operation (admin support of the crew).

Embarkation

Faster to the fun does work, but unfortunately, we chose to fly in via Miami (cheaper). Check in at Miami airport is slow and chaotic despite employees trying to do their best. The shuttle bus took 2 hours to pick us up to transport us to Port Everglades. Once at Port Everglades we witnessed a huge disorganized line. This is where FTTF came in handy. The ship took off 1 and half hours late because of this huge line. In fact, we took off while the drill began,
