My family which included my daughter & husband & three Grandchildren aged 3,12, & 16 boarded the Thomson Spirit in Marmaris Turkey. The boarding procedure was quick & as soon as we were on board the difference in the attitude of the Staff was very apparent. Having taken 16 previous cruises this was the 5th time with Thomson & the second time on Spirit the first some 9 years previous. The cruise was called Ancient Wonders & the ports included Athens & Istanbul. Well I can not praise the Staff high enough, all were excellent from the Cabin Staff to the Waiters & Bar Staff. My Granddaughter aged 3 cried when she left the Childrens Club so they must have been good as well. The entertainment was the usual in the evenings & for a Small ship good, but I have to say the Musicians on board were again outstanding. The Comedian they put on though was a little dated but if that's the only criticism you can live with that. The food was excellent the Cabin was very spacious although we did have the Delux Cabins which seem to be very roomy. The weather was excellent so overall I could not fault Thomson on this cruise.
Excellent space useage, plenty of room the bathroom could have been viewed as a little tired but overall no complaints
