No one can predict water levels or heat when they are booking a river cruise.
Given that, the cruise staff pulled off our trip and eked thru with the boat touching bottom at one point. We did miss one port so that the Captain could pass the most challenging point in the river before the water dropped below a manageable level. We thought he did a superb job. We went thru 62 locks, which lost its appeal after 2.
Food -- as many others have commented, the food for the most part is just mediocre. Breakfast and lunch are buffets with very repetitive foods, but the omelet/egg station is notable. Only four cereal choices, one chocolate which eliminates it for most adults. They did have choices of yogurt. Dinners were okay, and the bistro meal was filing but a disappointment. Would have prefered to eat on shore more, but time limited.
Perfect location mid-boat.
Very nice bathroom.
Perfect bed.
Limited storage.
