it was my first cruise and i never thought i would love it that much. the staff is extremely friendly and always polite; says good morning and good afternoon all the time. What i was the more impressed of is the food, which deserves five stars! the continental buffet is always fresh and full of delicious food. About the celebrity dining room, the food is definitely to die for!!! see for yourself ;)
As for the entertainment, the evening shows were really good, especially for the one celebrity equinox is famous for, called ''The Show''. I promise this one was almost as good as the Circus of the Sun. Absolutely incredible! Professional dancers are performing in front of you. WOW! (Celebrity Cruises are known for spending more money on food than on entertainment, as opposed to other cruise lines, which i think is a very good choice. To eat well on vacations is primordial to have a good experience. )
The staterooms were of a very good dimension as for the balcony. The only negative points for me were that we didn't know in advance that the drinks from the minibar of our staterooms were not included in our package. for example, water was included in my package, but if i take it directly from the minibar, they charge me. and many people got trapped and we ended up paying around 6 dollars per bottle we drank from there. The second and last negative point was the shore excursions. They are made for people who wants to see a lot of things in one day, by staying very shortly in every place. For that reason, at the end of the day of a shore excursion, i didn't have lots of souvenirs of what i visited because we had too short time and saw too much! The best part about vacation is to enjoy the little things and appreciate the country's atmosphere. For that, we have to see less. The days i went to visit on my own were the best! It took me 2 months or so before the cruise to organise these days. you have to be passionate about traveling like me;)

Barcelona
i arrived at barcelona the day before the beginning of the cruise. i arrived around 12'o clock and our transfer (booked with Air Transat) took us from the airport to our hotel Catalonia Eixample 1864, which is well situated, at 5 minutes walking from Passeig de Gracia and close to Las Ramblas. We left our luggages under supervision at our hotel to go eat at Ciudad Condal, an excellent and typical tapas bar from Barcelona and to visit La Sagrada Familia, that we reserved in advance on the internet. We went to these places by taxi, because it was the same price as the bus from our hotel. Then, we walked in the Barri Gotic, which is absolutely beautiful, before returning to our hotel. The next morning, before our transfer to the port, we went to Park Guell by bus, for which we had a reservation too. It was simply beautiful! Then, we walked from our hotel to the market of La Boqueria to eat a delicious fruit salad. To the port, the embarkation was really quick and effective. I was sad to leave Barcelona; I really enjoyed my stay there!
Cannes
I took the train to Cagnes sur mer, and from there the bus to St-Paul-de-Vence. There was an excursion going there but I preferred going on my own, which is more pleasant and economic I think! It is a typical french village with an enchanting atmosphere. There were things there to occupy me for a day! I had to save the schedule on my phone before.
