cabin staff was great! The departments on this ship do not work for Princes but rather their Department manager. Front desk blames Shore Excursion, shore excursion blames medical and medical blames security and the circle continues. You will wait in one long line just to find out they can not help you or you need to see a different department. No one in the administration of this ship works to make the customer happy just their on boss. The ship is nice, the ports were great but prepare for aggravation once you are back on the ship. My wife was unable to see Paris because of the inept staff which had to clear her for a shore excursion no prior information on how to clear for the Noro Virus which ran rapid on this ship was given. Once all of the excursion had left for Paris the Medical staff cleared her but no way to get to Paris. My two children and I were told if we stayed onboard with Mom we would not get a refund only my wife. No information was given about her not being able to go ashore or the need to get a check out to clear her until we had our tickets in hand and going through the boat security at the port. Security placed us and over 60 other aside in 2 location with security around us and security stated we needed to talk to medical the medical person on site stated we needed to talk to Shore Excursion and shore excursion was to busy to talk to customers to state that medical can clear them but rather held us off to the side. My 10 year old daughter was now crying and my older daughter was shaking because of the security treating like criminals and they thought Mom was being taken away and then they said we had to go and leave her because we would not get our $600 excursion fee back if we did not go NOW. Mom was left and the Children were CRYING. This is just 1 issue. this was our 8th cruise but 1st on Princess. Princess is in the bottom of the barrel. Choose NCL or Royal if possible.
