Despite my husbands grumbling at having to pay a cover charge, we ate at the Beach House , Glass House and Sindhu , each was worth every penny the food was excellent and the service was outstanding. We only ate in the main dinning hall twice the food was good. The price of wine on board was reasonable however if you were drinking spirits the cost soon added up if you had two double gins and a tonic each it was almost £15. I think if your doubling up they should charge just an extra £1 or £2 not the full price again. Children s drinks packages was £35 for 20 drinks and a choice of coke or lemonade and they were given a small paper card which the drinks were knocked off as they used it , this is prone to getting wet ,torn or lost, I believe a small daily charge for drinks per child applied to your room bill would be a better idea and a greater selection for them orange, shirley temples , mocktails etc, In fact a daily charge for an adult drinks package would be good too. We enjoyed the entertainment in the Live Lounge and went to a couple of shows in the Theatre a Michael Buble and a Take That tribute bands we enjoyed them both. We have two teenage sons who came with us and they were disappointed with the lack of facilities on board, the Teenage only Plunge pool at the aft of the ship is no bigger than a large Jacuzzi , therefore none of them used it , the two Jacuzzi's and the two small main pools on the sun deck were no way big enough to allow for 3000+ passengers . Both boys want to go on the Anthem of the Seas next time. Service on board was excellent and our room was as we expected. Why are the costs for the photograph packages so high? I don't feel that this represents good value for money. Overall we all had a good holiday but the ship lacked the WOW factor.
