Our first ever cruise we traveled with our two children age 14 and 18. We are finding it hard to comprehend most of the negative comments about this amazing ship or experience. We thought it was fantastic.

The staff could not do enough for you, from our room maids to our waiters to bar staff to chefs to security, all were very friendly, happy and always willing to help.

The restaurants were superb and the Windjammer buffet restaurant was a refreshing change offering a buffet service with so much variety and all so fresh for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and after evening snacks. The Silk restaurant was our family favourite. Drinks packages were a great idea as saved money in the long run. We had the premium drinks package which included beer, wine, cocktails and soft drinks including water, my kids had the soft drinks package which did not include water (a little strange), but their refill cups could be filled at different outlets throughout the ship, and most bars were willing to refill them also.
