Sail Date: Aug 2015
Cabin: Large Balcony
Traveled with children

Myself, wife and teenage daughter sailed in a large balcony (12100) and enjoyed our 2nd cruise with NCL. We knew what to expect with the Epic cabin arrangement and it wasn't a problem for us.

We enjoyed the ship, we liked the quiet sundeck on deck 18 at the front of the ship, although on the sea day, the lift from deck 15 didn't work at 9am as promised. We later discovered that you could get there via the stairs.

We had the UDP and ate dinner mainly at speciality restaurants (Cagney's, Le Bistro, Moderno, La Cucina) and all food was very good. We had no problem getting a table but we did see queues around 9pm for Taste possibly due to the number of Spanish onboard. We also ate at O'Sheehans for lunch twice and Taste for lunch which were fine. On a couple of occasions the food could have been hotter, it was lukewarm at best. The food in the buffet was fine for breakfast and we had a few afternoon snacks which were also good. We never had an issue getting a table in the buffet despite the sailing being full.

Cabin Review

Large Balcony

Cabin B6

The cabin was quite small but there was plenty of storage space. The balcony was angled and quite large although we only had the standard 2 chairs and a table. The double bed was comfortable but my daughter didn't enjoy her "sofa bed".
