Well, this is going to be one difficult review to write, as more than half of our cruise was cancelled by Viking on account of mechanical problems with our Ocean Cruise ship, the Star. It was to be a "trip of a lifetime," and I guess the adventures of the adjusted itinerary combined with the beauty and comfort of the new ship made it so, in the end. So I'll try to give the balanced picture!

Plus points:

Our stateroom was wonderful! Okay, it was tighter than your normal motel room and lacking in storage space, but I LOVED having the veranda! It really made the cabin seem like a floating luxury hotel and - I'm certain - contributed to my lack of nausea!
