Well here goes, just got back from cruise on Aurora, first one on P and O, ports of call Gib, Dubrovnik, Split, Venice Messina and Cadiz, Aurora is a smaller ship that we have been on but to be fair she is really stable and comfortable, we were on B deck in a mini suite B239 , lovely cabin, However the balcony area was beginning to show its age a little, I know that at sea you are going to get some rust, but to be fair it looked as though it had just been painted over, as when the balconies were pressure washed in a couple of ports the loose paint was blasted off and left all over the furniture and windows which then transferred to your clothes if you used the balcony !!!, did complain but no action of any sort, The entertainment was however fantastic, highlights were Tom O Connor!! yes I did say Tom o Conner, also on board band Caravan excellent ,and all other guests were good along with the highlights ensemble , Food, Horizons Buffet was a disappointment, food cold and too warm, I think air con was out on some areas of the ship, Glass House lovely food and great wine, Sindhu good but limited menu, Beach house, great menu and food but as this is at the end of Horizons, again too hot in the restaurant to fully enjoy food, freedom dining in Medina , food ok, some strange combinations, but overall not bad, but sat with some really lovely people at lunch and dinner as we shared a table, bars good, library good, overall impression,? great cruise, lovely time, but maybe another ship next time, but to all the passenger's who shared this cruise, thank you for your lovely lively and interesting conversation and company.
