I took my 38 yr old son on his 1st cruise as a get away. He had no idea what to expect. That boat rocked from the time we got on until we got off. He did not want to leave. The cruise director, Tyler, must have been on Red Bull the whole time. He never stopped. He wore me out watching him.
The entire staff was as down to earth and nice as you could hope for. The entertainment was wonderful. The welcoming back to the ship from Nassau was a party in itself. A young entertainer from Brazil, Paulo, performed guitar and sang in the lounges was exceptionally talented. What he could do with a guitar while singing was mind boggling. We got to talk for a few minutes but I can't remember his last name to follow him on face book as he suggested. Stage productions were top notch. Towel critters left the bed in our room at night were a hoot.
The food was superb and the waiters were excellent. The best short cruise I have ever been on. We wanted to stay longer. Our balcony cabin was a bit cramped but we did not stay in it long.
