I'll be writing this review in 2 segments. First, a quick overview and then a detailed review of the ports and details of the cruise.

The Good: Our cabin. We were in 9656, a 2 bedroom family suite. The concierge privileges were also amazing. Chops for breakfast (concierge privilege) was wonderful. The itinerary was wonderful and the service was with a smile. The teen club was active and great fun for my 15 year old. The spa was amazing. The video games for the kids was also a great plus.

The Bad: Specialty restaurants were just OK, certainly not up to par for the charge, even with a discount. The staff lacked knowledge on many levels and we were given misinformation several times, some that cost us money. It is also an older ship and is showing its age, looking a bit dated. We were on floor 9 and many times we just couldn't get an elevator, as they would go right past our floor. We advised the front desk and it was never fixed. Dining reservations were not easy either. Don't try to make changes near the night of. And, we even waited 30 minutes one night past our confirmed reservation. There were DOZENS of empty tables, so why were we waiting? They had to get us with the same waiter. WHAT? I thought this was my time dining?

Two Bedroom Family Suite

Cabin FF

We peaked in at others and all seemed nice. Ours was a 2 bedroom suite, which was barely more expensive than 2 adjoining rooms because of the kids free deal we got. It slept up to 8 though we only had 5 (8 would have been very tight, 6 would have been fine). It had one master bedroom with its own bathroom. Then there was a smaller bedroom with 4 twin bunks (2 from the ceiling). There was an additional bathroom and a very roomy living room with a couch, chairs, entertainment center and table. We found there to be plenty of storage, but it would be nice if they did some additional drawers and less hanging so it is easier to unpack things that don't have to be hung (and it would be far easier to repack when you leave). The balcony was roomy enough and it was at the back of the ship, so the view was quite good. Negative is that these are quite dated and it is clear they haven't done anything to them in a while. Also, the shower is in a bathtub and it is quite dangerous to get out. The drawers also have weird pulls that you cannot put your fingers into. Because they have the stops on the drawers, it does take some real effort to get them open. The magnetic walls really weren't very magnetized and nothing would stick.
