Embarkation - We arrived rather early, around 11:00 so there was no line and we received a group number to board. We were in the third group so we were all aboard by 1:30. We had lunch and went to the pool all before we even left Miami.

Cabin - we were in a window cabin on a lower deck, by choice, first off the boat at ports and you always get in an empty elevator. If you want a view of the ocean get out of the cabin. The cabins are small but very comfortable. We had them put the beds together so it seems larger than it is. The cabin steward was very nice and efficient.

Food - Overall the food is excellent. The buffet has a wide variety of items but some things are more appetizing than others. The breakfast is excellent. No need to go to a restaurant, since they have eggs to order, omelets and an assortment of meats. The lunch buffet has an even wider variety of lunch meats, burgers, pizza and healthy items. The one thing the ship doesn't do well in my opinion is dessert. The ice cream is good, but the cakes are flat and bland. The "included in the price" restaurants are excellent and again, in my opinion are all you need. The pay restaurants may be marginally better, but save the money for pictures and the ports. We had an excellent server named Evette who made us feel like family. We ate five of the seven nights with her at the quaint Tropicana.
