Sailed with NCL on the new Getaway with friend for my birthday I was disappointed to find that the hallways were so narrow that I could not walk through with my walker. Everry time I tried to walk they had to move the carts. Very inconvenient. It was difficult getting the walker through the door and into our cabin. Needed help form our state assistant.

Furthermore, handicap people must watch shows from the top of the theater. They provided a little area for the disabled to sit, but there is not enough room. The top row of seats is set aside for the disabled, but it is difficult to get to them. The steps are steeep, but I had help with my friend and son.

I am a frequent traveler on NCL, Platinum member, and looked forward to the new ship, however somebody, somewhere, failed to take the handicap needs into consideration. I was on the older ship, The Sun, and it was so much more friendly to the disabled.

Cabin Review

The handicap room given to us had poor closet space. Room very comfortable.
