This was my 5th cruise, 2nd on Norwegian. The Pearl is a lovely ship but old and shows its age. When you are going to Alaska and the weather is cold you spend very little time on deck. That being said, the theatres were not large enough to hold the number of people that wanted to see the shows. The buffet was way too crowded because people could not go on deck. I understand the restaurants need to shut down between each meal; however being open only 1 1/2 to 2 hours is not sufficient. O'Sheens, the restaurant open 24 hours, should have a larger menu selection. The entertainment I did see was very disappointing. I actually walked out on one of the shows.

The Legends show was very good.

The Stardust Theatre seats looked nice, but sunk to the wood. Very uncomfortable.

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Our room was mid-ship. I was very happy with the cabin. We had a balcony and enjoyed seeing the sea life. I went with a friend so I was happy there was room for a small table between the beds. I thought the bathroom was large enough. The cabin steward was very friendly and attentive.
