I picked this cruise for the itinerary and great price. Not usually a fan of Carnival but found that they do offer a great product for the price. Ship was in great shape considering it's age, all crew we encountered were very friendly and helpful and food was fine. So it was not fine dining quality but it was pretty much what I have come to expect these days as so many cruise lines have reduced food quality unless your paying for the specialty dining. One huge plus was that Guy's burger joint was on the ship and free, by far the best burgers I have had on any ship...loved it.

The singer and dancer shows were very good, our room was always clean and a great size. Overall our party had a great time and in large part because the crew were just so nice and accommodating. While I still prefer RCCL, I will not hesitate to book Carnival again. I think the key to really appreciating Carnival is to manage your expectations. In my opinion they deliver what they promise, a fun time at a value price.

Embarkation was not great. Left standing outside in the humid weather waiting to be processed.
