I really liked the Eurodam and the semi obstructed oceanview cabin was a really nice size and very comfortable.

Dining was excellent and the service on board was really quite good. There was a huge variety of food available in the Buffett and on the menu at dinner times. We found the wine to be very very overpriced and the selection of wines was very poor. Our group of six Aussies are a bit spoiled for choice at home and so this was a huge downside of our dining experience.

The efficiency of the ship was good and embarking and leaving the ship was very smooth. We found the reception staff to be courteous and able to solve problems quickly and with little fuss. Well done!!

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

Loved it! went on the hop on hop off bus and climbed lots of towers and saw some lovely castles and gardens. The people were very friendly and the city was easy to navigate and very clean. Make sure you do the canal tour at Nyhaven.

Tallinn

We prebooked a tour with Top Tallin Tours. It cost 15 euro a person for three hours. Our guide Heli was brilliant and we loved it.

St. Petersburg

We Did a private tour for both days with SPB tours and saw everything on the shore excursions list and way more. Our guide had excellent English and was very good. At the end of the two days we were exhausted

Helsinki

We bought an 8 euro pass for all public transport which included several bus and tram rides and a ferry ride to the fortress. It was a great fun day.

Stockholm

Again used a hop on hop off bus for the two days and thoroughly enjoyed the Vasa museum and we used the hop on hop off boat to get to the old town and the palace and saw the changing of the guard. The next day we did more touring on the buses and went through the town hall which was very impressive. The city is beautiful with all the lakes and gardens. We loved it!

Rostock (Warnemunde)

Hired a car and drove on the autobahn to Schwerin castle and then drove through some lovely country on the way back. Another brilliant day.

We also took a walk around the beach area in Warnemunde which was quite interesting

Flam

We did the same excursion on the train for one third of the cost of the ship since we had bought our tickets a few months ago on line. It was fantastic and the scenery was amazing

Stavanger

A fabulous boat ride to pulpit rock with Rodne fiord cruises also booked on line. The scenery was breathtaking. We loved it!!!!

Oslo

We picked up an Oslo pass which included all public transport and entrance to museum. We went to the Viking museum the polar museum and the Kon tiki museum which were all very interesting and then we took a train to see the ski jump that was used in the Winter Olympics. All good and very easy to get to. The Oslo pass was very good value!,,
