Cruised on the Eclipse before and she was just as fabulous this time. Main dining room food was excellent. The personnel on the ship were very friendly and helpful at all times. We absolutely loved Sue Denning as the cruise director. She is funny, talented, gracious and this was the first time we actually watched a cruise director's show on TV. The Russian day show was the funniest show with their hats on!!! The entertainment was great - especially the 'fake' Beatles!! Yes I'm a Beatlemaniac. Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth and painless. The staff kept the ship spotless.

We did private tours in Germany & Berlin. The only lame ship tour was in Tallinn, Estonia. We did a nice dairy farm but then went to a private home. I would rather have ridden on the bus roof for the price and seen more! Helsinki, Stockholm & Copenhagen tours were wonderful.

We thoroughly enjoyed attending the lectures. We didn't do much else but everyone else that was doing things sure looked like they were enjoying themselves.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 1A

Cabin 1A

Our cabin had a bigger balcony being on the slant. It was way too cold for us to venture out though but I would book it again. Great location to elevators/stairs. Not too noisy but next time will be when school is in! The first thing I noticed was those small overhead bins above the bed could be used now. There was more room in the closet too.
