This was our 6th cruise (3rd with our 2 boys) and we really enjoyed our holiday although the weather was not the best :-)

Firstly, we are very impressed with the décor of the ship which is very sophisticated and contemporary and this further extended to our larger inside cabin which has been the best of any cruise ship we have been on. The shows were fabulous and with a one-night only policy for the entertainers resulted in a great variety every night.

The activities and excursions were a little on the pricey side but this was made up for by the complimentary transport available into the major cities that again was better than the 4 other cruise lines we have cruised with in the past.

Cabin Review

Cabin Large Inside Cabin

There was enough room in the cabin to accommodate the family and not feel claustrophobic and our cabin attendant could not do enough for us with even providing some welcome balloons which the boys absolutely loved!! The bathroom was well stocked with amenities and quite modern with enough room to assist children at bath time.

Port Reviews

Greenock (Glasgow)

Avoid the hop-on/hop-off tour at the pier as it was expensive with seeing very little of interest. We walked into Greenock and found the Fire Brigade Museum that was a lot of fun and the children had a blast.

Kirkwall

A nice port of call but was a little cold on the day we arrived. A great find for the kids was the Radio Museum which was small but very interesting and had some interactive exhibits that the kids enjoyed.
