Sorry to start with negatives but there were a few positives too. Firstly the ship is very dated and shabby, no nice soaps etc, our bathroom was tiny and your knees nearly touched the door when you were on the toilet. Our loo smelt horrible, I had to spray perfume in there so mask the smell. Our toilet flooded from the bottom when I had a shower, the crew were good and it was repaired straight away. The cabin staff were excellent though and even though tips etc are included I still left them a tip. I am 47 and my daughter is 22 and we hated the entertainment, no modern music during the cruise, if you wanted a disco we had to stay up until 12:30 to hear some. All the music was what my dad would have played, it was like going on holiday in an old peoples home. Just to add insult the program on the last day to keep us entertained whilst we waited to leave was Dick Emery, my daughter didn't know who he was. Rules are not enforced, for example kids playing in the adult Pool, people smoking on the non smoking parts of the ship. The photo's taken on board are very expensive, more than any other cruise we have been on, £14.00 per photo. The unlimited drinks package is good value for money and saved me a small fortune. The trips are good but we wished we had gone on our own as we would have had more time to explore, the exception to this was the kayaking trip in Dubrovnik. The shows were ok but nothing to write home about. The food was good but I was upset with Thomson as all menus stated there could be nuts in the food, my daughter has a severe nut allergy, it was a mine field for us, I had to try everything first to help her, walnuts on most dishes too as a garnish. We were in deck 3 and we could not sleep without ear plugs as all the entertainment was so loud we could hear everything from deck 5 and 6, it resonates down the staircases. Le Bistro was nice and worth paying for but again my daughter had nuts on her plates. All the staff on the cruise are great, very helpful, funny and welcoming, it's a pity the ship lets them down. I wouldn't go on this ship again or any other Thomson cruise if this is the standard of entertainment, on a cruise you have no choice so please provide entertainment for all ages not just the elderly! I suppose this serves me right for expecting a cruise for small amount of money, I will stick to Royal Caribbean in the future, sorry Thomson.

Cabin Review

Cabin Inside

Very small, dated, not even enough room to store our cases, so played dodge the cases for 7 days.

Port Reviews

Corfu

The port was good, very efficient and clean.
