As a frequent cruise traveler, having traveled on over 8 different cruise lines over the years I must say this cruise has been the most disappointing. This was my first time on Carnival and I believe it will be my last. Most of my issues relate to the management and operations of the ship and how that impacts on guests. I will itemize this issues below.

Embarkation - it went smoothly enough for us as we had priority embarkation due to booking into a suite - #9206 forward.

Room - I would not encourage booking this as the door to the balcony would whistle at night and maintenance came twice to try to rectify it. The third time mentioned to the cabin steward he looked at it but there was no follow up. We tried to put napkins wedged into the door to stop the whistle. Other than that, our cabin steward was very helpful.

I would encourage quieter cabin areas. My daughter had a cabin #9290 and daily had issues with children running down halls being loud, knocking on doors during the night, and while she liked her room the hall noises came through and were disruptive. She did have plumbing issues twice- toilets backing up and sewage smells.
