You need to be in really good shape because the ship is huge and a ridiculous maze and there is ALOT of walking. Where you get off and on is absolutely horrible!!! You have to walk and walk through the stinky stinky old buildings and fences. Elevators don't even go all the way down to the 3rd level where the gangplank is. Where you get on in Honalulu is via old stinky musty building like an old convention hall with hula dancers, sad! The two small pools on the main pool deck are too small, one for babies and one where I had to dodge kids doing cannon balls. The other is heated ( in July!) in the back of the ship by the smokers. There are not enough pool chairs, there are not enough tables ( in cafe where you have breakfast and lunch). The furnishings are way tacky ( Liberty dining room big portraits of founding fathers). The ceilings are very low everywhere.

All this being said, it does get you to 4 islands where there are things you must see and do!! But don't do it thru the ship excursions, contact Aqua Adventures for snorkeling off Molikini crater (must do!!) and Smiths Luau and just about everything else. Better prices, much better personal service ( vs ship cattle call). I was very glad I cancelled my excursions thru the ship and used them instead. Use Blue Hawaiian helicopters if you can afford a helicopter ride. Rent a car and drive around Volcano Natl Park. Renting a car to see each island is a lot cheaper than shore excursions thru the ship. Your last night the ship goes close by the Na Pali coast of Kauai and will blow you away.
