We stayed the first night in Barcelona and that was great from strolling on the La Ramblas to dining under the stars at one of the many beach restaurants, it was so relaxing and prepared us for the next day ready for embarkation.

Embarkation to the ship was plain sailing ( excuse the pun ) it was smooth and quick, staying in Barcelona the previous night helped with an early check in.

As soon as we were on board we were met with different members of the crew trying to get us to purchase drinks packages and photographers trying get us to pose. we did get the drinks package for the fours adult and the soft drinks package for my Grandchildren, all teenagers. We then stood back and admired the magnificence of this HUGE vessel. It truly is a very well designed and exciting ship to be on. We then headed for lunch on the Windjammer deck to encounter our first queue ( line ) that surprised me owing to the fact we boarded early, about 11.30. The food was ok but not great, it was not displayed as well as I have seen on the other ships I have been on, i.e. Celebrity Reflection .We then explored the ship, grown ups went one way and the Grandchildren the another way. It is a very good ship. We relaxed on deck 15 and christened our drink package with a couple of cocktails and a couple of cold beers.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D7

Excellent and very clean. and Leo was a very good Attendant.

Port Reviews

Marseille

The yachting harbour is very good to see but for the rest of the city we ( 8 Persons ) felt insecure which it was as my Grandchildren were held up at knifepoint and passports etc, stolen. A high risk venue.
