In general we avoid cruising but we joined our family for a golden wedding anniversary celebratory voyage.

Embarkation

We arrived at our assigned time, 2:30 PM, and we were checked-in in less than a half hour. We chose to carry our luggage on board. Other family members checked their luggage; one had their bag missing for the entire first day.

Cabin Review

Balcony, sheltered

Our room was on deck 6 and had a balcony. The room had adequate storage space, a comfortable bed, small but functional ship-sized bathroom (flush twice). There were no electrical sockets for passenger use near the bed, but two American and two British sockets on the desk. Our steward, Argie, was very helpful and efficient. The room was always very clean. Breakfast was delivered to our room everyday as we requested.
