Cabin: Concierge Class 3

Beautiful ship, spotlessly clean, wonderful staff and exceptional entertainment team.

We booked a Concierge Balcony room 1283. Our cabin seemed smaller than the same cabin on Reflection. Certainly the wardrobe had definitely shrunk. Storage was not great. But the room was spotlessly clean and it certainly had a good size ensuite. Our stewards, as always, were very helpful and attentive. This was our first time trying the "Select Dining" apparently you can dine when ever you want and on a large or small table - that was certainly not the case for us. We could never get the time we wanted to dine and despite asking on 11 occasions to share a table 11 times we were informed "Computer says NO" it was not possible, despite hearing the girl (who was booking the tables) say to other guests that there wasn't anyone else that wanted to share a table! On the 11th time it was our last formal night and it was so dissappointing to be sat on a table on our own eating wonderful food and not being able to share such a lovely event with others. We complained and surprise surprise the next night we had a shared table (note to self complain earlier).

Actually I would not go on any ship in future if we had to have select dining as our only option. Despite this small problem the rest of the cruise was brilliant. I would recommend Celebrity to anyone. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, always smiling and ready to help. The food is excellent in all the restaurants but we were particularly impressed with the Ocean View Cafe (buffet). We don't usually eat in the buffet restaurants on ships as we don't enjoy the food and we dislike having to walk around looking for somewhere to sit. However the buffet food on the Eclipse was excellent. An amazing choice and couldn't fault it. The free ice cream in the Ocean View is a MUST. The Martini Ice Bar was brilliant and the guys working behind the bar were so entertaining. There could be more seating in the public areas.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 3

Cabin C3

Storage space was poor up to other ships we have been on. Balcony had two chairs with foot stools and a table. There was a large settee (which doubles up as a bed I think and that's why the room is smaller). Small coffee table. Wardrobe space was dreadful. Bathroom was very spacious. There was a kettle and teas and coffees which was great. Cabin staff were excellent.
