Sail Date: Jul 2015
Cabin: Grand Suite

Positives: Upgraded to Grand Suite (lovely surprise)....faster lift service, food was good, embarkation and disembarkation smooth, great cabin steward, no tipping!

Negatives: Overrun by kids with a very late curfew....every venue at night had kids dancing on the floors, stages and around people even the parties out on deck (starting at 10.30pm) had kids everywhere!

Non enforcement of hand sanitising units particularly entering restaurants was a worry. Even boarding the ship after a port of call there should have been hand sanitising!

Cabin Review

Grand Suite

Cabin GS

Cabin was excellent and huge! Great balcony, king bed, double sink and spa bath in bathroom and walk in robe.

However the spa bath did not operate properly and the furnishings were a bit worn.

Port Reviews

Isle of Pines (New Caledonia)

A tendered port at a beautiful place....we walked around the bay where there is a resort and swam at the beach there, walked around the rockpools. You are able to buy food and drinks at the resort but they are a little expensive. We usually take a snack and drink from the ship and wait to eat until we reboard. However the tender operation was slow and poor on the Carnival spirit with little information provided as to waiting times for each tender.
