We have sailed in Carnival Ecstasy in the past and there were lots of rooms where you can sit down and have a drink or sit down and chat. In the Carnival Sunshine there were barely rooms where you can sit and lounge. Outside it was over crowded with chairs barely any room to walk, you had to go around peoples feet. The food choices on this cruise were very repetitive. The desert table was very small, while the Ecstasy had huge round tables with tiers of different desserts. The Ecstasy also had a huge table with a wide variety of breads while the Sunshine only provided croissants. During the nights and days there were barely any shows, considering this was a 5 day cruise there were nights and days there was absolutely nothing happening on the boat. Comparing to the other 4 cruises we have been on, when the boat leaves on the pool deck they always have a party with music and someone on a microphone leading a group of people dancing. Usually a member would lead a group of people to all dance to some songs, this one had no excitement going on. The Ecstasy would refill your bathroom everyday with a one time use Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner packages, on this Sunshine ship they only had a pump in your bathroom which you don't know how long it's been there, you don't know if someone might have poured bleach in the pump, or syrup, you never know. Overall i would never recommend this cruise ship, it was very lame.
