Okay, to start off, I just want to say that I read the other reviews, and I'm not sure what some of the other reviewers were talking about. This was my second time on the Norwegian Breakaway after sailing with them last August, and it is still my favorite ship to date. From the moment you walk onto the ship, you feel as if you are being welcomed home, even if it is only your first time on the ship. The cruise was great, and I would highly recommend it.

Now to go into detail.

Last year, I went with just my family of four, and it was wonderful. This year, we had a group of thirteen in total; Seven adults and six children ranging in age from 10 to 17. Everyone still had a great time, the only complaint made throughout the vacation was that it rained on Wednesday, but there were none about the ship itself. We are all from Long Island, New York, so with that, we packed up our cars and drove to the port. We did not park at the port itself, as it was too expensive, but instead we parked at a local parking garage a few blocks away. We were all dropped off with our bags at the port while the men dropped the cars off and walked back, and it was not a problem. Check-in was pretty easy; once our group was together it took us about an hour to get on the ship. We had an 11:30am check-in time and arrived at the terminal at around 10:30am, so we made perfect timing. Read more
