Having been on 13 cruises with princess this was somewhat disappointing. Although the ship (Royal) is one of the best I've been on and the service was excellent there were some overt and subtle things that bothered me.

The food was tasteless. Dining on a princess ship has always been an excellent experience for me but on this trip ... eh! Even the specialty restaurants were not terrific. Sabatinis, over the years, has gone from a 12 course dining experience to 3 courses. Worth the money? The steakhouse did not present anything special other than good service.

Excursions were over the top expensive and often involved long bus rides. We arranged our own over the internet that worked out very well
