This was our first cruise after being married for 28 years and what an incredible expeirience it was. The food was amazing! We started the day in the Windjammer cafe and enjoyed the endless variety of food to start our day. We mainly just snacked for lunch and we enjoyed all the foods that were available on the promenade deck (5th) or on the pool deck. We dinned in the main hall every night (King Lear-5th floor) and we enjoyed all the fantastic selections that were available every night. The service was top notch and the waiters were so professional.

The entertainment was exactly what we were looking for. Lots of laughs in the big halls and lots of trivia and karaoke in the smaller ones/bars. There was always something going on on the promenade deck and pool deck. My wife and I enjoyed the pool deck area. Even though the chairs got snapped quickly, we went to the top deck and enjoyed the quieter location and enjoyed the hot Caribbean sun. The walking track was a great workout as you always had a brisk wind. The ship has so much to do such as the flow rider, mini golf, a rock climbing wall and a great gym to work off those calories.

We did excursions at all 3 ports and enjoyed them all. My wife scheduled tours of the islands since it was our first time visiting and we enjoyed learning about their history. The weather was beautiful and the tropical drinks were cold. If we visit these islands again, we will do more shopping .

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E3

Since this was our first cruise, we purchased a cabin with a balcony. When we entered the cabin, we could not believe how big the room was.It was just as big as many hotel rooms. The bed was very comfortable and their was plenty of closet and storage space. The bathroom was bigger than expected and we enjoyed all the extras that were provided. We enjoyed the balcony for quiet sittings and reading times. Since we spent so much time out on the pool decks, we might get an inside cabin next time and have extra money for shopping on the excursions.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We loved that you could park right outside the ship in a nearby parking lot. It was $15 a day , but worth it when we walked off the boat and walked right to the car. We were off the parking lot in 5 minutes and on our way home. The staff that worked in the area were very helpful and made check-in very easy for us.
