i took a 7 day cruise with NCL costing from the outset the best part of £2000, the locations visited were all great Rome, Pompei, Florence/Pisa, Cannes and Palma, Barcelona was the start and finish point but can not be included as you get no time here. First of all for £2000 pounds you would expect your accomodation to come with Wi-Fi included and not charge an additional £100 for a weeks access! but NCL wanted that for their Wi-Fi.

Next was the cost of trips, for example for two adults to go to Rome with the guided tour was around £350 for 6 hrs in Rome! an Easy Jet flight and some internet searching could have got me a weekend break for that price. the culture on the ship was all about raking in the chargse, everytime you bought something a service charge was added, some people at the airport on way home were saying it added £hundreds to their bill.

my teenage daughter visited the gym, and after being charged £35 for the pleasure was told her body fat was high but this was ok as for £300 they could sort this out with some magic capsuals and a 6 month course of emails from the gym manager!, needless to say i didnt take this offer. it did however upset my daughter to the extent she didnt want to wear her swimming costume.

the Cabin was at best ok, it was a place to sleep at night nothing more. it was poorly lit for an inside room.
