Sail Date: Jul 2015
Cabin: Large Balcony Stateroom
Traveled with children

We are a family of 5 (8, 14 and 17).

CON (Big one IMHO): This departure date was sold-out so the ship was at full capacity. The public areas, elevators, theater and pools are not proportional to the capacity of the ship. This made a big impact on how fun and relaxing my vacation was. This ship is only "free-style" if you're willing to plan each day AT LEAST 24 hours in advance if the activity allows and fight large crowds. You will also need to be very flexible about which activities from the "free style daily" you want to participate in. For example, the movie in the atrium is packed with people saving seats at least 30mins before the movie. Forget the pools during the day. Lounge chairs are all claimed before 8am and the pool is over-packed. Around 5pm there was plenty of space to use the pool though. The ropes course had a long line every day but that seemed to move quickly. The breakaway bounce and rock climbing were at least an hour wait each time we checked.

Another big con is O'Sheenen's. The food is terrible (and I'm not that picky). The big problem here was that the bar area of O'Sheenen's is connected to the atrium so this was main area that you could relax inside. Tables were always available in the restaurant section.

Cabin Review

Large Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B6

We traveled as a family of 5 but we were in 2 cabins. 2 adults in the large balcony room 9118. If you're sensitive it can be considered a far walk from all activities but it was fine with us. The room was clean. It was small as expected. I believe they say it can fit 4 people but I couldn't imagine more than the 2 of us in there. I'm very glad we got the larger balcony. The kids were in an inside family stateroom (9441) which seemed to suit them fine.
