We are fairly experienced cruisers having been on about a dozen cruises. This trip through the Panama Canal to Lima, Peru was our first cruise on Oceania. This was the best cruise we ever - and last summer we were on the Queen Elizabeth in the Mediterranean. The food was the best we have ever had. We found the ship very well appointed and the staff very hospitable. The excursions were high priced but very interesting. We felt like we really got a feel for the Central American countries because so many tours were based upon indigenous people. As soon as we got home, we booked to the next segment from Lima to Buenos Aires. We cannot recall meeting so many passengers who were so brand loyal on any other cruise line. The entertainment was also top-notch. The casino could have had more action.
